IM Users and no time limit; offers almost
full functionality of IMConsole 2005 R2 except
for the access to update the settings in the
'Enhanced Circular Logging'
feature to set policy to retain or delete
message content archives. Under this edition,
however the application is set to delete message
content automatically while retaining the
other details of the message record to provide
management information reports and statistics
about IM and Auditing Activity etc.
In addition, this also provides a real time
update on presence-information concerning
the 'Key Presence Indicators' (KPI) for the
LCS 2005 deployment in the entire organization
through 'Presence Dashboard'.
Incorporation of this auto deletion functionality
in the 'Universal Edition' makes IMConsole
2005 suitable for every organization deploying
Live Communications Server 2005 Instant Messaging,
whether it is a large or a SMB and irrespective
of the applicability of any rules /regulations
for archiving all instant messages. It enables
monitoring and administration of IM activity
in the organization without any hassles involved
with archiving of IM archives. |

'Premium Edition' also provides access to
a 'Enhanced Circular Logging'

the message content archives. This assigns
flexibility to the IM Administrators to selectively
maintain the IM Archives for auditing or reporting
purposes. Further it provides the option to
archive the message records, before the message-content
deletion. |

IMConsole 2005
R2 is licensed on a per 'Enterprise
IM User' basis. Currently pricing
is based on the total number of IM-enabled
Users in the enterprise on a cumulative basis.
