A
new feature-option to review the Instant
Messages sent during a specified time interval
has been added. This IM Journal enables
reviewing of IMs sent over a maximum of
24-hour window for any day (or two successive
dates), through the 'Search/Review' console
of the 'IM Dashboard' in chronological order. |

File Transfer |
A
new filter has been added to the IM record
which enables to identify messages to which
some files have been attached for transmission
over the IM connection. A host of reports
have been added to IM Usage Reports, and
IM Users reports providing important information
to the management regarding file transfer
activity over IM
network. |

Secured installation |
System Design changes have been made to
secure the access to 'IM Dashboard' component
of the software and thus to sensitive information
stored in IM Archives. |
Department-wise

Additional options have been provided to
filter the 'IM Users' reports based on the
departments for individual IM Users as defined
and structured in Active Directory. |

Enhanced
Circular logging

A new option has been provided for merging
the message records archived earlier, using
either the built in archiving feature of
LCS 2005 or IMConsole 2005 Enhanced Circular
Llogging feature. The message contents deleted
by circular logging can now be restored
at a future date if required. |

New IM Reports and Statistics |
Several new 'IM Reports and Statistics'
and also 'IM Audit Reports' of interest
to top management of any organization, have
been added to an already rich set of reports.
Options to view drilldown child reports
also have been incorporated in many cases.
Information on a number of many important
attributes has been added to facilitate
determination of ROI on IM investments. |

for a new edition also known as 'LITE Edition'
is being provided over and above the existing
options for Universal and Premium Editions.
This would enable the customers who do not
want to have full set of IM Reports and
Statistics and other functionalities of
IMConsole 2005 R2, to license only 'Presence
Dashboard' which provides Presence Information,
Reports and Statistics. |
