It offers almost full functionality of IMScribe®
5.0 except for 'Advanced Reports' and 'Database
Administration' features. Additionally it
skips every 4th message upon capturing the
instant messages sent using Exchange 2000
IM Server. The software may have a built in
Time Bomb, which will kick in after 60 days
of initial installation. This, however, can
be upgraded to a fully functional licensed
version upon purchasing the appropriate product
license.

Users but has no time limit; offers almost
full functionality of IMScribe® 5.0 except
for 'Advanced Reports' and 'Database Administration'
features; suitable for pilot deployments
of Exchange IM in enterprises or small or
medium businesses.
Starter Edition, besides capturing and archiving
all IM traffic to a centralized SQL Server
2000 database, also provides searching and
auditing on IM activity. Additionally, it
also provides a rich set of 'Reports and statistics
on enterprise-wide IM usage. However this
edition does not include 'Advanced Reports'
and 'Database Admin' features available with
Standard and Enterprise Editions respectively.
