Prior to founding Cordant, its CEO Sonu Aggarwal was instrumental in developing the Microsoft vision and architecture for enterprise Instant Messaging, as Lead Program Manager for Exchange Instant Messaging. Previously, Sonu was co-founder and COO of the enterprise IM company Flash Communications, which was acquired by Microsoft to form the basis of Exchange Instant Messaging. Sonu holds the first-ever patent for enterprise Instant Messaging and has co-authored five others.
