Cordant releases ‘IMScribe 5.0’,
a comprehensive upgrade for IMScribe, for Instant
Messaging Archiving and Database Management

February 17, 2004 - Cordant™, Inc., a pioneering
company in developing solutions for Archiving/Monitoring
of Microsoft Exchange 2000 Instant Messaging, has
today released IMScribe 5.0, its comprehensively
upgraded version of the IMScribe product
line. Building further on IMScribe 4.0 functionality
transforming the IM Archiving system into a MIS
for enterprise IM deployment, it provides a comprehensive
set of reports, data and statistics on IM Usage,
IM users, IM Auditing, IM Archive Database Management
tools and seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Office
2003. It also enables WORMing on external storage
devices to comply with regulatory requirements and
has a more robust system architecture, increased
scalability, usability, and expanded set of tools
to manage the IM Archive database.
IMScribe 5.0 IM reports and statistics provide management
better visibility into IM activity. This will help
management in better decision making, taking effective
action and improve its ability to anticipate, manage
and respond to the challenges posed by the rapidly
evolving regulatory environment.
IMScribe 5.0 is an economical alternative for enterprises

time license fee in several editions, such as a
Starter, Standard and Enterprise Editions;
all are field upgradeable. Additional IM Users can
